A little bit of history...

The beginning of this family business began in 1927 with Valérie Davasse running a retail business in what would later become the premises of the Goudy house, already the trade and sale of grain was at the centre of the activity.

Then in 1945, returning to France, Pierre Goudy founded on his return of war what has become Goudy&Cie, building on ancestral knowledge while remaining fully aware of technological changes as well as emerging issues in the post-war societyThe company Goudy continued to develop and evolve, especially with his son Jean Claude Goudy, in order to become an essential part of the landscape of Germanic Lomagne.

Today it is the siblings Goudy who is still at the helm, with Catherine, Bernard and Vincent in Saint-clar in the Gers, succeeding the head of the company founded by their great-great-mother, this business that goes from father to son for several generations, to the advantage of maintaining its family and sympathetic character while combining modern know-how, carefully selected personnel as well as ever more advanced equipment. To meet the plurality of today’s farmers, as well as respecting the environment and future generations, Goudy&Cie is committed to reasoned agriculture with its technicians and its range of BIO products.
